We\u2019re also a\u00a0Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Recognised Assessment Entity (RAE)\u00a0<\/b>offering both\u00a0standard and bespoke<\/b>\u00a0drone training solutions to individuals and organisations across the UK.<\/p>\n

Due to\u00a0continued business growth<\/b>, we\u2019re looking for a\u00a0motivated, technically skilled Drone Instructor<\/b>\u00a0to join our small but ambitious training team.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t a tick-box teaching role. You\u2019ll work closely with our\u00a0Head of Training<\/b>\u00a0to deliver high-impact drone training – including\u00a0standard certifications (A2 CofC, GVC)<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0tailored, industry-specific training<\/b>\u00a0programmes for commercial clients.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll primarily be delivering training using\u00a0quadcopters<\/b>\u00a0(DJI and similar platforms), with a strong focus on real-world operations, mapping, and safe commercial flying practices.<\/p>\n

This is a chance to\u00a0shape course delivery, support learner engagement<\/b>, and contribute to the ongoing development of the UK\u2019s commercial drone workforce.<\/p>\n

The role<\/b><\/p>\n

Deliver\u00a0A2 CofC, GVC, and Mapping\/Topography<\/b>\u00a0training to learners of varying experience levels<\/p>\n

Support the\u00a0Head of Training<\/b>\u00a0in developing and refining course materials<\/p>\n

Deliver both standardised qualifications and bespoke courses tailored to specific client needs<\/p>\n

Assist with\u00a0learner recruitment,<\/b>\u00a0onboarding and marketing (e.g. updating LinkedIn, learner outreach)<\/p>\n

Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content, structure and delivery<\/p>\n

Provide technical support for\u00a0mission planning, mapping workflows, and data capture techniques<\/b><\/p>\n

Stay up to date with latest CAA regulations and best practices in UAS operations<\/p>\n

What You Bring<\/p>\n

  • CAA A2 Certificate of Competency and GVC certification<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Experience with quadcopters (especially DJI platforms) in operational or training environments<\/li>\n
  • Deep understanding of UAS sector workflows \u2013 mapping, surveying, automated flight, data collection<\/li>\n
  • Confident instructor able to deliver training from day one<\/li>\n
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset<\/li>\n
  • Full UK driving licence and local to the region (must be able to travel between training sites)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Bonus If You Have<\/b><\/p>\n

    A\u00a0teaching qualification\u00a0<\/b>or demonstrable teaching\/training experience<\/p>\n

    Experience developing or delivering\u00a0bespoke commercial training programmes<\/b><\/p>\n

    Knowledge of software such as\u00a0Terra, Pix4D, DroneDeploy, or photogrammetry platforms<\/b><\/p>\n

    Experience working in the\u00a0education or training sector<\/b><\/p>\n

    Strong technical understanding of DJI platforms and supporting tools<\/p>\n
