A new Skills Bootcamp launching in February 2026 will help South Yorkshire\u2019s construction sector embrace the future through a unique blend of drone technology and digital construction training.<\/p>\n
The Integrated Drone Surveying and Digital Construction Technologies <\/strong>is led by the RNN Group<\/strong><\/a> in partnership with T3 Training & Development<\/strong> <\/a>and Iprosurv<\/strong><\/a>, a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Recognised Assessment Entity<\/a>, and supported by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA)<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n Designed to support the region\u2019s construction, infrastructure and built environment sectors, the programme combines drone surveying and 3D mapping<\/strong> with Building Information Modelling (BIM)<\/strong> and Autodesk Revit<\/strong> training. Learners are prepared to work confidently in a data driven construction environment<\/strong>, from site capture to digital twin development and asset management.<\/p>\n Participants will gain both theoretical understanding and practical experience in drone operation<\/strong>, digital twin development<\/strong> and asset management<\/strong>, all under UK CAA standards<\/strong>, so they can work safely, compliantly and efficiently on real projects.<\/p>\n The Skills Bootcamp is open to anyone who\u2019s looking to start into this sector, or for those looking to upskill in their business this could be surveyors.<\/strong> It is suitable for early career entrants as well as existing construction professionals, surveyors, architects, engineers and local authority staff who need to build digital skills around drones, BIM and Revit.<\/p>\n Successful learners will achieve CAA A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC), CAA General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC), and NOCN Level 3 awards in Digital Construction Technology and Revit Essentials.<\/p>\n These industry-recognised qualifications align with the growing demand for drone-enabled surveying, digital construction workflows and modern asset management.<\/p>\n The Skills Bootcamp is designed for individuals and organisations across the built environment who need to bring drone surveying, BIM and Autodesk Revit into everyday practice.
