IPROSURV ACADEMY | GVC DRONE TRAINING
Develop your drone knowledge and flying skills through our
four-day, in-person GVC training course.
No Previous Drone Flying Experience Required.
Learn directly with our instructors through classroom teaching
and practical instruction across the four days.
Develop aircraft handling and operating skills with guidance
from experienced instructors.
Prepare for the required theory and practical assessments
through a structured training programme.
You do not need to arrive as an experienced drone pilot.
Our course combines theory and practical instruction over four
days, helping you build your understanding and confidence as
you work towards your General Visual Line of Sight Certificate.
Whether you are developing a new skill, adding drone capability
to your existing role or preparing to operate within your
organisation, we connect the learning with practical operating decisions.
Understand airspace, operating responsibilities, site assessment
and the decisions involved in preparing a drone flight.
Explore aircraft systems, performance, weather and human
factors that influence safe operating decisions.
Develop aircraft handling, orientation, controlled manoeuvres,
pre-flight checks and practical operating procedures.
Classroom learning and practical instruction are delivered throughout
the four days, helping you apply the theory as your flying skills develop.
Individuals starting their drone journey, employees developing
a new workplace capability and organisations preparing an
internal drone team.
No previous drone flying experience is required to join.
If you are unsure whether GVC training suits your intended
operation, speak to our team before booking.
The programme supports your preparation for the required theory
and practical assessments. Your certificate is awarded following
successful completion of the applicable qualification requirements.
A GVC demonstrates pilot competence; it does not provide unrestricted
permission to fly. Your aircraft, location, operating category
and any required operational authorisation must also be considered.
Iprosurv combines training with experience delivering inspection,
surveying and data capture work. Our instructors bring that
practical understanding into the classroom and flying exercises.
We help you connect course knowledge with the planning,
preparation and operating decisions involved in real projects.
Review the event dates, times, location and price shown in the
booking details. Our team will confirm joining instructions,
any registration or preparation requirements, equipment
arrangements and the course timetable before you attend.
Practical flying is subject to suitable weather, site conditions
and safety assessments. We will explain the arrangements
for your selected course.
Do I need previous flying experience?
No. Practical instruction is included across the four days,
alongside the classroom theory.
Is the course delivered online?
This is a four-day, in-person course. Check the event details
for the dates, times and location.
Will I automatically receive a certificate?
No. Certification depends on meeting the qualification
requirements and successfully completing the relevant assessments.
Review the event details and available booking options,
or speak to our team if you need advice before booking.
